A POSE A DAY HELPS YOU WORK REST AND PLAY.
Between 17th July 2006 and 29th May 2009 I created A Fresh Snapshot Of Myself Every Single Day.
The Choices and Decisions that went into constructing each Daily Self Portrait tended to be Improvised, Intuitive, Spur of the Moment and Unrehearsed.
A CULTURE'S POWER STRUCTURE DEPENDS LARGELY ON HOW WE LOOK AND HOW WE ARE LOOKED AT.
In this project I made a commitment to abide by a series of (arbitrary) boundaries and rules, eg: each portrait must be taken between midnight of each day, they can never be shot days in advance nor in retrospect, and the default pose is as for ID cards, forward facing, minimal expression etc etc
CITIZEN HIGGS CLOCKS IN, DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY.
