monday 28082006

Though I am passionate about ideas and information, I don't read books a great deal anymore. When I do it tends to be "non-fiction". Very often I open them randomly, for as Marshall Macluhan once pointed out, entering a book is like entering a bath, where you enter it is of no consequence. Currently there are two books that I'm dipping into. When I'm sat on the toilet I sometimes open Gianfranco Sanguinetti's "ON TERRORISM AND THE STATE". And for the past week when I go to bed I have been reading and re-reading a short article by Kenneth Gergen titled "THE HEALTHY, HAPPY HUMAN BEING WEARS MANY MASKS".
