Eggs and Bunnies are both fertility symbols of extreme antiquity

HE HAS RISEN.......

The Sexuality of Christ in Renaissance Art and in Modern Oblivion
Leo Steinberg explores the symbolism and importance of christ's cock

plus "Who stole Jesus' foreskin?"
"Did the Vatican steal Jesus' foreskin so people would shut up about the savior's penis?"

CHOCOLATE EGGS....

Child Labor in the Cocoa Industry
"Thousands of Africa’s children are forced to labor in the production of cocoa, chocolate’s primary ingredient."

"The West African nation of Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) is the leading supplier of cocoa, accounting for more than 40% of global production. Low cocoa prices and lower labor costs drive farmers to employ children as a means to survive."

"Estimates suggest that more than 109,000 children in Cote d’Ivoire’s cocoa industry work under 'the worst forms of child labor,' and that some 10,000 are victims of human trafficking or enslavement."

"These child workers labor for long, punishing hours, using dangerous tools and facing frequent exposure to dangerous pesticides as they travel great distances in the grueling heat."

"Those who labor as slaves must also suffer frequent beatings and other cruel treatment."

The first novel, of a serious comic author named Tom Robbins, is titled "Another Roadside Attraction". It is a fun read, and has an interesting plot about the mummified body of jesus being secretly held by the Vatican until stolen by a kung fu hippy who had a contract to teach martial arts to the Vatican Guard.

Reading the book does not make the chocolate taste any less delicious, but does still raise a lot of questions about the possibility Christianity is a big long-running hoax.

have you read it?
russell higgs: No I haven't read it Ray. Nor anything by Tom Robbins. I've just googled him, I see he was friends with Terence McKenna.

By the way...I feel your childs play morning dressups are beginning to look less spontaneous and more thoughtful...going the way of da da?

Today's output is gorgeous.
russell higgs: 99% of the time the dressups are created the moment after I've decided "ok lets do today's portrait now". And on some days I do a shoot and then decide i don't like that first dressup and I start all over again.

I love the word "gorgeous"
I've read some T. McKenna because I'm interested in DMT but I've not read Tom Robbins so thanks for the info. I've read that all the Easter stuff was originally to do with Goddesses.
Flikr is a whole new world to explore. Your postings are so much more than a photo!

You might be interested in this Tom Robbins quote:
