Russell, I can't get my brain round this one.
Out of nothing, that is like from a vacuum; how can one imagine anything, let alone our values from nothingness aka a vacuum? One can't invent anything without a starting point and nothingness offers no starting point.
russell higgs: "Out of nothing we will imagine our values, and by this act of invention we shall live."

It's one of my most favourite sentences. I love it.

I guess for starters I'd recommend that you take some time perhaps to research and think about "Nothing". It's a fascinating topic. It's an important topic.
some shutterchance gremlin is currently preventing me from assigning dates to the latest portraits.....

dec 24th's portrait has been uploaded and waiting in the wings since yestrday.

i haven't shot today's yet.
I've just uploaded today's portrait, but the shutterchance gremlins are still running things that end and I can't show it to you yet.
it's the third day that I haven't been able to post here.

It's ironic that the public view of this project is temporarily frozen here, as the dried flour and water that I'm wearing gives my face a taut frozen expression.
