hi russell
Whats that green stringy stuff?
How long does it take on average to decide and arrange your pic for the day ?

russell higgs: Hi Liam,

I think the string is sold as a washing line. That's how I always think of it, anyway. Washing lines are about clothes and dressing up. (I like using coat hangers as a symbol for Naked Protest).

On average my Daily Portrait probably takes about an hour, maybe. That's from the moment I decide to do it, through to selecting the shot and uploading it. But I have an optimist's general perspective about things and I often wildly misjudge how long things really take. An hour on average sounds about right and there have been some days when I'm really squeezed for time and I've got it all done in 15 mins. If I know in advance that I've got a full day ahead of me, then I get out of bed an hour earlier to make time for the portrait right at the start of the day.
