Today's shoot was heavily influenced by the knowledge that at any moment the camera battery was going to go.

A low battery, with no spare battery as yet, tightens the boundaries and rules of this daily game of mine. I'd have probably preferred to adjust today's look and reshoot it, but sometimes it's kind of nice to simply have to choose from what I've got.

Meanwhile, in a private comment yesterday I was asked if I've thought of exploring my neck area.

I do sometimes sculpt/dress-up my neck when I'm initially piecing together the look for the day. But in my eyes the whole thing usually seems to then look too cluttered.

Very often it's when I subsequently remove things from my neck area that I consider the look to be ready to be photographed.

Also, in the past I have sometimes worn a shirt or a T-shirt covering my shoulders and chest area. But in retrospect I mostly regret doing that now. Again it just looks cluttered in my eyes (except for the grey jumper that I've relied on a number of times....... don't ask me why, but I find the grey jumper works and I will use it again).

But undoubtedly one day I will look at my neck from a new perspective, some angle I am currently blind to, and then I'll probably be dressing my neck every day. Just wait and see.
