MeMoir: 1987 SEX WORKER

I've tried a few jobs in my time. The shortest job was probably when I did a half day in a burger bar. One of several jobs where I decided during my lunch break that I simply wasn't ever going to return.

Here I am in 1987, trying out the employment role of Sex Worker, for a gay escort agency. This picture was taken by the bloke who ran the agency and it was one of the pictures on offer for clients to look through in order to select the whore of their choice.

I think I only did 2 clients before I quit that job.

It was easy work, the money was great and the sex was no big deal. But I just wasn't tolerant of spending one-to-one time with people that I didn't like. One client was a racist jerk who referred to black people as "jungle bunnies".

What else is there to say about this picture?

Those leopard print knickers came in handy for my next job as a strippergram (more specifically a Tarzan-o-gram). Though that didn't last long either.

And that is really the only period in my life when I've had a sun tan (I'd been living in Spain previously).
