Hi Russell.
You have been dressing with "flair" for quite a while.
The last couple of days it appears you are in a new phase and dressing with "care". This image could pass muster on an avant garde catwalk.

Can you share the titles of the head gear?
russell higgs: I think they were "wedding etiquette", "sexual deviation", "phallos: sacred image of the masculine" and ........ i can't remember the 4th one. I'll go and have a look.......

....... it was "half past human" (such a great title)

Hmmm...could have used "wedding etiquette" when I got married in Thailand a little while back...I might have had some notion of what was going on...ha ha.

I bought a book called "sexual deviation" when I was about 15 years old, thought I might have been "deviant" but was a bit shy about talking to was a load of laughs, and certainly confirmed my suspicions.

"phallos....." found a creek bed in Cambodia recently, with 1000 phalluses carved in it about 1100 years back, and it made me think "Jeez, we blokes are pretty insecure aren't we!". A few years back I had a conversation with a lady who was a bit annoyed with me about something, and she exclaimed "You are the most penis-obsessed person I have ever met", to which I of course responded "Thank you".

"half past human"...yep...great title. I checked out a couple of reviews, and might look out for a copy to read. Synopsis sounds quite like an excellent book I read some time back [The World Inside].

Thanks for sharing this information.
russell higgs: they're mostly books that have been lying around for years and I want to get rid of them but I feel theres some information worth extracting from them before I do. So they continue to clutter up my flat until I at least bother flicking through them one day.

a friend sent me "half past human" in the post.

to be honest I don't read books much anymore.
